California's coastal sites (Monterey, Pacifica, Torrey Pines, etc..) offer lots of opportunity for ground handling and air time. The mountain sites (Potato Hill, Dunlap, Ed Levin,Etc..) offer beginner training hills, to advance thermal soaring and cross country. Flat lands (Salton City, Davis, Sacramento) is great for powered paragliding. Most sites are all within a driving distance. We strive to keep our privilege of flying these sites, so if you are new to a site, we recommend a site intro from a local pilot or a certified instructor.

About Us
Paragliding is a growing and exciting sport that can open the window to a whole new world of experiences. Although they somewhat resemble rectangular skydiving parachutes, (from which modern paragliding has evolved), paragliders are now designed to keep you aloft for extended flights soaring or motoring (paramotoring). It is small enough to be stowed in an oversized backpack and light enough to carry on your shoulders. It's so portable you can take
it almost anywhere. After gaining some experience, you can begin to use the upward movement of the air, (thermal or ridge lift), or a motor (paramotor) to stay aloft for hours. When it's time to come down, landing can be just as simple.
