Bruce Cruz, a 10 year old, took his first tandem flight on a powered paraglider trike when he was about 8. At the age of 9, he began learning how to kite on his father's wing until he was finally old and big enough to earn his own gear. At the age of 10, he had an early Christmas present, an extra small Sky Atis II wing and Sprinter harness. Over 30 hours of ground handling and flights off of training hills, he finally took his first 19 minute flight. Till this day, he continues to build more confidence and respect for paragliding.
